What's funny is that they're blaming progressives and saying the Democrats (overall) were far-left communist and adopted progressive beliefs etc. That's why they lost. If so, why was AOC protesting out the Dem National Convention and why did so many progressives point-blank refuse to vote for Kamala because of her part in what's going on in Palestine with Israel? The majority of Muslims in Dearborn & Hamtrack, Michigan (a place where 'sharia law' was declared and they are something like 70%+ Muslim) was declared for Trump. They voted Republican. www.politico.com/news/2024/11/10/dearborn-vote-kamala-harris-trump-00188618The progressives and "Muslim extremists" make a nice scapegoat for why the Dems lost, and everything must be defined as left wing or right wing as suits, but the fact is that they mostly copied Trump's policies towards the end. They even talked of 'closing the border' and left Trump's tariffs in place under Biden, on China, they even added more tariffs in fact, as I recall. So I'm not sure blaming "the leftists" for this makes sense, like they blame Corbynism for everything that's wrong with Labour even today, for their low polling numbers, even though he nor the left has anything to do with the party anymore |

So people don't vote demovrat because of Palestine and vote trump instead...do they think trump will be more in line with their desires or are they just throwing their toys out of the pram and actually getting a worse outcome. Prog politicians didn't lose the Dems this election, they had little to no power over anything that happened
Maybe Progressive voters had an effect, by refusing to turn out to vote for Biden
In any case, they find it unacceptable to support the continued war in Gaza, so I don't blame them
I wouldn't vote for Biden either, even though he is a patriot and I support whoever is president, including Trump next
