Targeting civilians is illegal as is targeting civilian structures, yes; neither of which does Israel do. However, targeting combatants is legal and if the combatants use civilian structures, then those civilian structures lose their legal protection. Both Hamas and Hezbollah use civilian structures as human shields. Israel is entitled to defend itself. |

Unfortunately, where command bunkers, ammunition, and fuel for military purposes, are deliberately located in or under, residential structures, civilians may become casualties. This is why Israel issues warnings to evacuate, before attacking. No other country in the world gives warning they are about to attack! |

According to the Bible, pretty much most of south Lebanon, Jordan and all of West Bank and Gaza belong to Israel and the Israelites I don't pretend to know what God wants in this circumstance, but I can clearly see the Jews have been getting more land Israel has no claims on Lebanon. There are there to defend Israel against a part of the Iranian army called Hezbollah which illegally-occupies southern Lebanon against the wishes of the Lebanese government and people. Hezbollah have been targeting northern Israel with rockets and were planning a Hamas style massacre against northern Israel. The Lebanese army is not being targeted by Israel. Israel also has no claims on Jordan, with which Israel has a peace treaty. |

There are hundreds of examples from ancient history where countries owned other countries land. Its the same excuse Saddam Hussein used for trying to steal Kuwait. Only difference is that he was stopped. Israel is a bully and a thug stealing land off people who have farmed it for generations. Justifying it by saying they owned it a thousand years ago wont wash in the modern world. |

People asking why Netanyahu has been indicted for war crimes when Hamas leaders haven't, need to be reminded that Hamas is already registered as a terrorist organisation.
