When I was born, I was delivered by a West Indian midwife.
So, there were blacks and Asians working in the NHS because of their skills.
I'm simply suggesting that we put the NHS back to the way it was when I was born.
The middle management didn't exist.
IVF on the NHS didn't exist.
There were no dedicated diversity staff, but it worked.
The big mistake has been giving none medical staff a licence to make work for themselves to draw money away from patient care.
It's a health service, it's going to have to apply the principle of TRIAGE.
Triage means putting those at highest risk of death first. Sepsis patients, cancer patients, heart surgery patients.
Couples aren't going to die if a woman doesn't get IVF.
So, make people who want IVF pay for it. It's not a health issue.
A woman with big tits isn't going to die if she can't get breast reduction, a woman with breast cancer could die if she doesn't get surgery in time. So apply TRIAGE.
Someone with testicular cancer has to be prioritised above someone who wants a sex change.
Let those wanting sex change operations pay to go private.
It may be offensive, but the NHS exists to save lives not pander to PC.
