Judging from the apathy in this microcosm of politically interested persons, I guess the answer is give up and die or emigrate.

Sunak chose exactly that option

Clearing out the toxically in-fighting previous administration, unmasking the chronic state of the UK economy, levelling with electorate about the difficult financial environment ahead while preparing a budget to set up the UK for progressing over the next few years, seems a commendable record for just 12 weeks…

And they're champing at the bit to take the fight to Putin at the same time, if only it wasn't for old Sleepy Joe holding them back ...... courage courses through the veins of this Government and that's why it's imperative to retain the honours system so that we can show our gratitude and admiration when the appropriate time comes. The benches behind Sir Keir are chockablock with Labour MPs, giving the clearest indication that the Country is behind him and proudly marching behind the red flag. Not even the greedy pensioners with their sob stories enticed him to back down. This rudder is made of steel and the good ship Starmer is navigating the initial choppy waters before our intended destination comes into clearer view ..... Socialism ahoy !

I've never asked and I don't presume to know the answer, but would you prefer Reform UK to be in charge and Farage to be PM? From what I've seen of all the parties including the SNP and every single other one, none of them seem to have any answers, that's not the case with other political parties around the world who seem at least a bit better ... of course there are worse parties too Being honest I would see reform but that doesn’t mean the actual party,I would see reform of Westminster, the voting system, abolition of the HoL and more. We don't need this behaviour thanks.
If you want to start a thread called which party do you want in power please feel free to do so. I only wanted realistic ones. Please don't bring this type of one line rubbish to this forum. Excuse me for having an opinion even though you deem it rubbish Please make a point with your opinion. What are you talking about someone asked a question which I answered and you say you don’t want this sort of behaviour, what behaviour is that then answering a question put you then say my contribution is crap. I am polite try to answer peoples points and you dismiss it as rubbish or crap and you wonder why no one is joining.

A lot of threads on here go way off topic, but usually don't merit the green text treatment, seems like singling posters out to me
And I asked the question so I'm more culpable for taking it off-topic than he is, as I'm the one who initiated it, I figured that conversations like that were accepted on here roughly speaking

I respectfully asked (In green) that we don't kill threads by suggesting the Labour party could resign, obviously a silly (comic) comment. That you then asked the poster which party he would like in power was neither here nor there. I'd have hoped you would know me better than that by now, but there you go again.

Nevermind Zany, I and I suspect others will just stick to our other forum pol-tics from now on. I thought I did know you better than that, but you've made me realise this forum is probably not for me, as Monte said, if you kill humour on here it will die - the forum, being ridiculously strict about things when we're having a perfectly normal political conversation about our beliefs is just ... ? It's like you don't want anyone to discuss anything except exactly what you want I'll just post elsewhere from here on in, ta ra

I have seen two threads with Wapentake follow the same path of saying something and then spending the next four pages arguing he didn't, thus trashing the actual thread. If this is something you want here everyone please say and I will leave. However in my mod role, I have said previously, if people want me to stand down I am happy to do so. Please say here everyone, I wont mind.

I said I’m gone for a while and will be,don’t be so bloody daft man it’s a forum not life or death a mods job is a poisoned chalice you have to contend with people like me from time to time. Another poster mentioned Rackhamesque, I some times disagree with him but you know what I do like he says what he thinks may call you a pillock but without any rancour and holds no grudges and most importantly has a sense of humour.
