Now regarding the Yanks, thousands of people are killed in mass shootings in the USA, Trump did nothing about that on his watch, and boasted about having done nothing about it.
Now he's nearly been killed because of the very system he supports.
If I were Biden I'd be making that point and calling for better controls.
Controls don't mean no guns, controls mean fewer mass shootings.

As far as I am aware previous presidents have strived to keep the mix equal over democratic and republican judges. If you know different please demonstrate. Presidents tend to put people in who they feel are supportive of their position. It amounts to the same thing in any case - ie Obama's idea of 'balancing the court' is going toe be different from(say) Trump's Once again we seem to have hit that odd philosophical issue - the left genuinely seem to have a problem with processing the fact that what they feel is true and objective is not necessarily the case from another perspective, No. I mean they chose an equal number of Republicans as Democrats. Not the guy they thought was right for the job. Trump put in a bunch of anti abortion judges. Why? Was Trump a hard nosed Christian? Not by any standard I can imagine. Did he think making Abortion illegal might win him some Republican votes, Yes. |

My hope is that he will go to prison for real crimes that can be proven against him; that is the answer- Violence is not. However, making up crimes and twisting the legal system around the objective of jailing a political figure, is also enacting violence.. Proof please? Not sure you're aware how steeped in criminality Trump is, which doesn't justify shooting him |

The shooter, it turns out, is a registered Republican. However, he donated to a liberal PAC before he registered as a Republican, presumably to vote in the primary against Trump and stop him.

PR has its own problems, also what would you replace the Barnett formula with? Also IIRC you have used violent rhetoric against other groups and not just Putin/Russia either. You say Trump did nothing about mass shootings in the USA, but maybe you didn't know he moved to ban gun bump stocks? He also tried to place more restrictions on guns but the NRA threatened to run a huge campaign against him and he u-turned on that. He didn't boast about doing nothing about mass shootings IIRC. The gun controls in the USA are more than sufficient; the problem is enforcement of the existing laws in most states unfortunately. However, I'd prefer Estonian or Swiss style gun laws which are more stringent |
