My main opposition to both Biden and Starmer is simply the fact they are funding the murder of innocent Gazans.
It's so horrific to watch the scenes out of Gaza, how so called liberals anywhere in the world can be in favour of Biden, Starmer or anyone else supporting the genocide - and yes it is a genocide - going on boggles my mind, it truly does
The way all our politics works is so utterly evil, to its very core. How can our governments send missiles to kill kids and fund genocides and tell us they have any moral legitimacy ... whatsoever?
How can anyone tell me either of them are better than Tories or the Republicans when they're helping that genocidal cunt Netanyahu kill so many Gazan children?
I haven't heard any good answer to this question and I've asked it of many

They cleared the blockage and found what was causing it (a piece of wood that had broken off the straw walkers). We finished the last of the stack this morning with no issues. There's still a whole stack to thresh and they'll be cutting this years wheat in the next week or so. Really behind due to the wet spring which is when we usually get most of it done. We can't thresh in the rain or the straw gets wet. Farmer Paul does have a spare drum in much better condition but despite having bought it about 3 years ago it hasn't been used yet. Mainly because it needs a few adjustments but also I think he'd rather carry on using the one that hasn't had a year off since it was new in 1950. The new one is actually a year older but it probably only worked until the mid 60s then sat in a nice dry barn doing nothing but the occasional demonstration at a county fayre or steam rally. It looks really fancy, still got the original pink paint on the woodwork. I don't like to ask, but is there a reason why Farmer Paul still uses machinery Noah threw out?

You can't use a combine if you want thatching straw. It has to be done the old fashioned way.

Actually there does seem to still be a number of modern thatching straw machines out there. But I quite like that you live a certain life.

Thatchers will tell you though, threshing with an old fashioned drum gives you the best straw.
