Mind you, at 75 years old it is still younger than Trump or Biden.

They decided to attack anyone who disagreed with them They did this for years, while engaging in ridiculous insistence that Biden is perfectly fit for office, Trumpists did same. Mind you, political tribalists of all persuasions do the same things and defend things they don't particularly believe in purely to spite the other  As for Trump, he's still less dumb than some - as is Biden - it could be worse and bright bulbs like that Paul Gosar could be installed into power instead, then we'd be even more buggered; some would approve of that too.. |

Biden at least has an excuse. He looks like he has dementia. There's no cure for Harris stupidity. If Harris is a cert to beat trump , it makes you wonder why she isnt being put forward . Those polls were far from showing she ' is a cert to beat trump' in fact they suggested a lower lead over Trump than Clinton had in 2016. The weirdness of the USA system means a Democrat candidate needs to beat a Republican candidate by over 4% to win the Presidency. Harris with her lack of both charisma and Y chromosomes would struggle to get that in the USA electorate. A Josh Shapiro Harris ticket however . . . . |

Michelle Obama would be the best president the USA has probably ever had, unfortunately, she's not interested in running.
Can't blame her because it would mean all the sick stuff about how she's a tranny being posted again and again about her, and Obama's birth certificate etc

And if you look at Kamala's poll ratings, she's even more disliked than Biden, she wouldn't stand a chance Their best bet at this juncture is to strong arm Michelle Obama into the race; she's the only D who polls high enough to beat Trump in a re-election, but she's publicly said so many times she has 0% intention to run for any office whatsoever - let alone president IOW, the Dems are borked and Trump is prez - and sadly it was all 100% self-inflicted / 100% avoidable I agree, what a mess. Big issue is that all the donations are to Jo or Kamala, so they would have to be returned if someone new stands. If Biden had only stood down sooner. |

They cleared the blockage and found what was causing it (a piece of wood that had broken off the straw walkers). We finished the last of the stack this morning with no issues. There's still a whole stack to thresh and they'll be cutting this years wheat in the next week or so. Really behind due to the wet spring which is when we usually get most of it done. We can't thresh in the rain or the straw gets wet. Farmer Paul does have a spare drum in much better condition but despite having bought it about 3 years ago it hasn't been used yet. Mainly because it needs a few adjustments but also I think he'd rather carry on using the one that hasn't had a year off since it was new in 1950. The new one is actually a year older but it probably only worked until the mid 60s then sat in a nice dry barn doing nothing but the occasional demonstration at a county fayre or steam rally. It looks really fancy, still got the original pink paint on the woodwork. |
