The same as when someone murders their former partner for leaving them and doing well on their own instead of recognising their own faults and becoming a better person.

Illegal wars against neighbours.
Money laundering outside Russia.
Global bullying.
Election interference.
Internet Research Agency, Russian Web Brigades.
Wagner Group, E.N.O.T. Corp and Rusich Group were used to wage unofficial war against Ukraine from 2014, Prigozhin himself admitted this.
