Why is it Israel can attack the UN with impunity? given the number of U.N staff they have killed, the number of buildings they have destroyed, the aid they have interfered with.
If any other country had carried our such attacks, as Israel have, the US and I dare say us would have bombed them to smithereens but instead we are allowed to send them the weapons to kill them.

Because our neo-colonial governments are happy to see dead Palestinians, because they [Palestinians] are apparently less than human, and sadly, many support them [our western governments] regardless of how they see Palestinians

Apparently the Israeli government have declared or is going to declare the UN a terrorist organisation.
From the sublime to the ridiculous.

Previous reports speculated that Starmer might drop the objections , but during a visit to Israel , lammy promised they wouldn't. The interesting thing about this is I see labours very short honeymoon is over , and on all fronts , they appear determined to carry on where the tories left off , as the twin cheek of the same arse , and criticism and pressure is growing. o/t, I see labour have also promised Lachlan Murdoch they won't pursue a levenson 2 inquiry...... We are in for more of an extremely bumpy ride. I almost , almost feel sorry for the poor buggers who voted this shower in believing it would somehow bring about change.......

From the sublime to the ridiculous. how come we never hear people like vinny screaming kill the invader and kill Netanyahu regarding Palestine , but he never ceases to chomp at the bit regarding Russia and Ukraine? An example of a good little pet dog , who is instructed via the media who is the bad guy and who is the good guy without engaging brain and engaging consistency regarding right and wrong. Like so many. The whole world outside of Pax Americana is laughing at the western world rules and laws while the powers that be continue to support the behaviour of the Israeli government .

No one voted this shower in. They voted the other shower out. I know what you mean monte , but they still got 20% of the electorate , 33.7% of the turnout , in the banana election. These people here who voted them knowing labour would fall into power. What possesses anyone with a modicum of intelligence to vote for the red tories? You dont get rid to the Tories by voting in the other cheek of the same arse? Apparently the North Korean leader has been on state tv laughing at the free and fair election in the uk.

It can't be any other way. The UN doesn't have an army and there is no feasible way it could have. Everything it has is inherited (lent) from various nations who have populations that produce.

It doesn't really matter what you think of first past the post, it's the system we have. It's no use complaining about the rules once the game is over. Personally, I'm happy to be rid of the shit show we've had for 14 years and glad to have someone slightly more likely to tax and spend. I have no illusions about halcyon days heading our way. Also, I've got a Green MP now so am pretty chuffed about that.

The old imperial powers sitting on the UN Security Council like Britain and France is a laugh. Mere puppets of the yanks, hence why they are left there. Indecisive , on the major problems of the day , failure to curb rogue states like Israel , resolutions ignored by Britain and America ,(chagos islands) probably the French and many others as well , and so on. I suppose my point is I dont know why we bother giving it any credibility anymore. The world should walk out in disgust and refuse to legitimise what is in short nothing more than a plaything for the yanks , and to a lesser degree Russia and china.

In every election across the developed world , there is always a party who gets more votes than the others. There is no country I can see where this party gets 64% of seats for 33.7 % of the votes. It's not labour being the largest party I have a problem with , it's their excessive over the top , unrepresentative reward in terms of seats. What difference is it making to your life , or my life , when one set of tories is replaced by another in government? We are arguing over the colour of a rosette, rather Than any real difference in policy. it's laughable. Change? what change?
