Everyone was saying he had torn up his speech and written a more conciliatory one. But I can't find anything.
Did he actually speak?

Trump's official speech is scheduled for Thursday. I suppose he might not remain entirely silent until then, but seems to be letting his newly announced running mate J D Vance have the publicity and the microphones for the moment.
