Is he really arguing for repeated elections until he gets a result he likes?
Doesnt he and the rest of them accuse the EU of doing that all the time.
The Squeezed Pimple is a bit of an odd one. He actually has some intelligence, yet repeatedly allows himself to be dumbed down by all the morons around him and whom he finds himself agreeing with.
When backed into a corner he becomes a most dishonest debater though, like the time he repeatedly kept putting forward the ousting of Boris Johnson as an explanation for Tory difficulties, then denying he ever said it when asked to back it up, before repeating it again, ad infinitum. Most people get bored and walk away which is why he does it when he cannot back something up. But if you keep pressing eventually he goes into full on troll mood and insults you before walking away, blaming your own supposed stupidity for that decision. I have seen him conduct himself in this manner numerous times over the years, both against me and others.

No, he's using Labour & Remain voters' own logic against them, several people have said that 2019 voters voted overwhelmingly for Remain parties, so that showed the majority should be in favour of Remain and a new referendum be run.
He's saying the EU does repeat referendums and elections until they get the result they like, so they have the option of doing that too according to those standards put forward

It does though highlight the severe democratic problem the uk has though doesn't it? I asked myself how low does turnout need to get , and how low the winning margin in terms of percentages before someone admits there is a problem.?

Come on Steve, this is mainstream news that has done the rounds in the media, on twitter, on fora, do you really want a long list of everyone who's been saying it? I can't even login to most of the other forums where people have been saying it to run a search can I? One example: Election result: 52% of votes go to pro-referendum parties despite decisive victory for the Tories Vote share split echoes ratio from 2016 referendum www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/election-result-boris-johnson-pro-brexit-referendum-voters-conservatives-a9245866.htmlYou see, I'm (and I suspect Squeezed Middle is) not referring to you when I/we talk about this - it's a point that's been done to death on a LOT of places

So when you said that 'several people have said that 2019 voters voted overwhelmingly for Remain parties' it wasn't referring to anyone here
And it wasn't true anyway because no one said 'overwhelming'.

Well of course it's no one here, Squeezed's post was on a different forum . . .
I see you're being pedantic about words again, if no one used 100% verbatim language I used ("overwhelming"), then it can't have the exact same meaning.
You'd probably quibble about calling a pound a quid or something similar and claim victory over that too, if someone said "I have 10 quid" and I quoted it as saying "he said he has ten pounds" you'd probably claim you've won the argument..

Language matters, words matter. Best not to post materially false statements if you're going to get so upset when the error in them is pointed out.
And FWIW Squeezy Middle didn't make that '2019 voters voted overwhelmingly for Remain parties' comment. YOU did.

I did, because I'm using the logic that many Remainers have used, as outlined in that Independent article. You have used that logic yourself, whether you used those exact same words or not
