Ok, any gunshow. Private sales are exempt from background checks.

Why would it be a problem? It's 'merica, land of the gun. The most dangerous animal in America is the heavily armed human being who decides to trespass and open fire indiscriminately. They have no functional controls and despite two morons with guns having a try at Trump he still doesn't recognise any need to reform their laws. You can walk into a gunshop in any state and walk out with a shotgun. That's a serious weapon. Challenging as an assassination weapon though Several assassinations have been carried out with shotguns and even muzzle loaders. One, with a blunderbuss.

If you upset the ATF, they will send you to prison for a LONG time Even for a relatively minor breach of the rules, you've broken federal law It makes people scared to get guns, which is presumably the name of the game here. I dont' agree with that and believe it is federal overreach by the well meaning folks at the ATF

Anyway the thread is about Trump, NATO and Ukraine.
If Trump won't support NATO or Ukraine, kick the US military off UK sovereign soil.

In some states the rules are very strict, it's a constant battle in the courts to enforce stricter rules vs repealing them
It's never ending
It almost feels like most laws in most countries these days are decided by the lawyers and justice system in general, rather than anyone else

The laws are very fluid here in the USA. Sometimes things get ultra strict and then the pendulum swings in the other direction
It's hard to pin down what things are really like here because they're just constantly changing
That is both a good thing and a problem of the USA

Some very scary appointments by Trump so far.

The most scary thing is that he is trying to bypass Congress and have candidates appointed without going through the usual scrutiny and voting process.

If you're closely following what's happening, it's all going pear shaped as it always does. It's quite likely he will pass even less legislation this time round than he did last time
You never know, but it looks like he's already dug himself into a massive hole

Anyway the thread is about Trump, NATO and Ukraine. If Trump won't support NATO or Ukraine, kick the US military off UK sovereign soil. Just off Diego Garcia would do it
