The two state solution is dead. Netanyahu is pursuing a one state solution. Unfortunately genocide is part of his method to achieve it. There is no viable "two state solution". The Palestinian Arabs do not want one. They want ALL the land. First attempt at a two state solution: United Nations proposed Partition Plan under resolution 181: The then Palestinian Jewish Community accepted it, but it requires more than one party to constitute an agreement. In 1947 the “Palestinian” Arab response was to start a civil war to oppose the U.N. Partition Plan, instead take ALL the land of Israel, and ethnically-cleanse or murder the Jews from the Jews ancestral-homeland of Israel. Second attempt at a two state solution: The Oslo Accords: The autonomy granted to the Palestinian Arabs under the Oslo Accords, can be considered a failed experiment how they would approach peace, were they to be further granted a state: The ink not yet dried on the deal, the Palestinian Arabs: Claimed ALL the land, continued with their terrorism, fired rockets at Israel cities, committed a massacre against Israelis on October 7th, 2024. I thank contributor "Vinny" for their Link to the Genocide Convention. The Genocide Convention requires "intent". Israel's warnings to civilians to vacate the immediate combat zone are incompatible with the requirement for "intent" and therefore Israel has not, and is not, committing any "genocide". Whenever Israel is obliged to defend itself, the "genocide" falsehood propaganda always appears, devoid of proper evidence. Robert

The alleged Gaza casualty figures to which contributor "ammonite" refers, are unverified and source from Hamas. Not surprisingly the backers of the Palestinian Arab Hamas barbarians, the United Nations and its subsidiaries, seek to validate the Hamas figures. Neither are the figures from Hamas verified from any objective-source, nor are the ones alleged by the United Nations. The alleged figures also do not differentiate between combatants and civilians. . The reader also may be interested to know that although Israel began ground operations in Gaza on 27 October 2023, recently pro Palestinian Arab Hamas-terrorist Media such as France 24, have been showing those figures as updated, in their rolling news, dating it from "October 2023" which fails to make any distinction between the period October 7th to October 27th 2023. Yet "October 2023" is indeed a correction from their previous dating of, guess what, Gaza casualties dating from "October 7th, 2023"! No doubt if asked they would plead "typo", but it was being broadcast for many days before correction. What this shows is that the Media biased against Israel, are happy to accept their fake-news directly from Hamas, not only a biased party, but a terrorist organization who it seems cynically seek to include in their unverified casualty figures those of their combatant barbarian members who carried out the massacre on October 7th, 2023 but died! The official Gaza heath ministry figures of cassuaties are recognised by (1) the government of the United States (2) the United Nations (3) the Red Cross / Red Cresent and (4) most western governments. The images, footage and aerial / satelite pictures speak for themselves, just as they did in Mariupol, Ukraine, vast areas of urban landscape flattened and turned into ruins and heaps of rubble, incuding homes, residential areas, schools, refugee camps. Sentences such as this within your post are nonsensical "pro Palestinian Arab Hamas-terrorist Media such as France 24" You are making an attempt to lump "Pro Palestinian" together with been Pro "Hamas Terrorists", where as in reality most people (including me) are Pro Palestinian, but certainly not Pro Hamas Terrorist. Its a con trick often attempted by those who support the murderous Israeili's in their war crimes which are equaly as deplorable as what anything Hamas have committed. The situation in the ILLEGALLY OCCUPIED Territories are not black and white or binary, its much more complicated and complex, there is only one answer to this almost 80 year old conflict, and that is a two state solution. As regards France 24, a news organisation which I sometimes watch on TV and respect, they, like other honest news organisations must always offer the Counter Argument, the opposite side and play Devils Advocate in order to be objective, and let the viewer form an opinion. Contributor "ammonite" wrote: "The official Gaza heath ministry figures of [casualties ...]": Those figures source from Hamas. Anyone who accepts them is accepting biased information from one side. The figures also do not differentiate between civilians and combatants. France 24 appears to be both professional and objective, but it is not so on the Israel / Arab dispute over the land of Israel, where France 24 are entirely biased to the Palestinian Arab side. For example, all their pundits are pre-selected for pro Palestinian Arab opinion. Contributor "ammonite" also wrote: "[...[ ILLEGALLY OCCUPIED Territories [...]": The allegation of illegal-occupation against Israel sources from U.N. resolutions falsely accusing the Jewish people of illegal-occupation of parts (such as Judah and Samaria - "West Bank", and the Golan Heights) of the Jewish people's ancestral-homeland. How did the Jewish people become accused of illegal-occupation of parts of their own ancestral-homeland?The U.N. and its structures have for many years had a built-in pro “Palestinian” Arab bias. The “Palestinian” Arabs start-off in U.N. votes by enjoying a block-vote in their favour of up to 56 Arab and additional Islamic-aligned countries (e.g. U.N. member states that are also members of the “Organization of Islamic Cooperation” and follow its policies when voting in the U.N.), and influence of Arab oil money with consequential trading power; compared to Israel having one vote. How to immediately end the alleged Israeli Illegal-occupation of its ancestral-land
The falsehood purporting an Israeli illegal-occupation of any part the Jewish ancestral-homeland, comes from the anti-Semitic policies of the United Nations, and which therefore the U.N. should repeal forthwith. An example of a different U.N. anti-Semitic policy subsequently repealed, was the U.N.'s falsehood that Zionism (Jewish nationalism) was form of racism: www.nytimes.com/1991/12/17/world/un-repeals-its-75-resolution-equating-zionism-with-racism.htmlOnce the U.N. have repealed their illegal and illogical falsehood purporting an Israeli illegal-occupation, the U.N. should offer an apology to the Jewish people for all the years of the U.N.'s suffocating anti-Semitic trumped-up charge. Accepted international constitutional law is that Laws must not be passed that are intrinsically-unjust that persecute a minority, as are the U.N. decisions against Israel, which falsely-validate the unverifiable-claims of the “Palestinian” Arabs. An example of unjust-laws were the Nuremberg Laws of Nazi Germany which persecuted the Jews. Such U.N. policies are illegal, being in conflict with the international treaty signed by the Israelis and “Palestinian” Arabs - the Oslo Accords which also constitute international law. The Palestinian Arabs are in breach of the Oslo Accords because they: Claim ALL the land, continue terrorism, fire rockets at Israeli cities, and carry out massacre. There has never been any indigenous “Palestine” / Arab sovereign state in the land of Israel upon which the “Palestinian” Arabs could base any claim to any part of Israel. Israel is Re-established within the Jewish ancestral-homeland. To see that modern Israel is Re-established within the Jewish ancestral-homeland the reader need only consult a map of the post-Biblical Jewish Hasmonean Kingdom, which included: Judah and Samaria (which became known since 1948 as the "West Bank" due to Jordanian illegal-occupation); and also included Gaza, and the Golan Heights, Its capital was what is now known as EAST Jerusalem / “Old City”; between 110 BCE / 754 BH and 63 BCE / 706 BH - Map: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4b/Hasmonean_kingdom.jpgTherefore just as Israel / the Jewish people logically cannot: “Invade”, or “steal”, or “illegally-settle”, or “be a colony on”, its OWN ancestral-homeland, it also cannot logically “illegally-occupy” its OWN ancestral-homeland. Contributor "ammonite" wrote: "[...] there is only one answer to this almost 80 year old conflict, and that is a two state solution. [...]": There is no viable "two state solution". You are conflating Palestinians and Hamas. It's like calling all Germans Nazis. It's absurd.
Hamas are terrorists.
They have hostages including the NATIVE civilian population and they use human shields.
Likud are responsible for the bombing of human shields.
They are also reponsible for the shooting of civilians including children.

How long should a people wait, relying on others, before they rise up against oppression? Undoubtedly, they're entitled to fight back against oppression. The question is: how should they fight against oppression? Not all forms of resistance are acceptable. I don't believe either of us thinks what happened on October 7th can be justified in any way. It was unmitigated savagery. Merely pointing out that the Israelis can be just as bad won't change that. Contributor "Saint" wrote: "Undoubtedly, they're entitled to fight back against oppression. [...]": Palestinian Arab propaganda falsely-accuses Israel / the Jews of “oppression” / persecution, to try to dishonestly-invoke and misuse the Islamic rules on defense against persecution of Islam (see noble Quran: Surah 2, Al-Baqarah: vv. 190-193), and At-Taubah, 9: v. 36). Israel / the Jews have NOT persecuted Islam; and consequently there is also no such evidence. This is not a religious dispute, but rather is due to the territorial-ambitions based on unverifiable claims, of those Arabs who now call themselves “Palestinians”, over the land of Israel. There has never been an indigenous “Palestine” / Arab sovereign state on which the Palestinian Arabs could claim theft, or make any claim on any part of the land of Israel. Palestinian Arab propaganda false-complaints of: “oppression” / “persecution” / “discrimination” / “(mis) treatment” / “racism” / “being treated as 2nd class”: Is Palestinian frustration at Israeli security measures obstructing the on-going Palestinian war of ethnic-hatred against Israeli Jews. While Israeli security measures are due to the Palestinian Arab anti-Jewish war of ethnic-hatred (see below) carried out for Palestinian territorial-ambition, Palestinian Arab propaganda falsely-accuses Israel / the Jews of “oppression” so as to create a hoax of “Persecution to try to dishonestly-invoke and misuse the Islamic rules on defence against persecution of Islam, and deceive other Muslims into supporting them. The Palestinian Arabs cynically whitewash their anti-Jewish hate-war, as: “uprising”, “defence”, “desperation”, “struggle”, “resistance”. If a Palestinian Arab terrorist murders an Israeli Jew and the terrorist is imprisoned by Israel, the “Palestinian Authority” aka “Fatah” and the “Palestinian Liberation Organisation” (the P.A. funded by the “European Union” and the U.S.A.), pay a reward-“pension” to the family of the attacker: Example: Israeli girl, Hallel Yaffa Ariel, aged 13, fatally stabbed in her bedroom in West Bank by a Palestinian terrorist, June 30, 2016, The Guardian: www.theguardian.com/world/2016/jun/30/israeli-girl-13-stabbed-bedroom-west-bank-kiryat-arbaListing which includes Palestinian Arab terrorist attacks by year: www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/comprehensive-listing-of-terrorism-victims-in-israelRobert

Read the convention. Illegally displacing an ethnic group is a form of genocide. he wont read the convention, he onlyaccepts whet he reads on Israeli controlled sites and their proxies.

But that wasn't enough for the hard Zionists who assasinated the Israeli PM who'd signed the deal and then got their mates Likud to act to destry the deal.

Absolutely. We're coing up to 14 months now and Israel has been the most efficient recruiting sergeant for terrorism throughout that time. Not at all. Israel's war of defence and deterrence could not radicalize the Palestinian Arabs further than they already are, as shown in any event by the Hamas massacre of Israelis of 7th October 2023. The Palestinian Arabs are radicalized by their Palestinian Arab education. It is Palestinian Arab policy to weaponize their children; to groom them into becoming terrorists: : More BS from you. Yes there were concerns that UNRWA were not ensuring education in schools they supported was good. To extrapolate that to support your broad brusg racist 'The Palestinian Arabs are radicalized by their Palestinian Arab education. It is Palestinian Arab policy to weaponize their children; to groom them into becoming terrorists' is appalling and very possibly illegal.
