With respect Zany, suggest you have indulged this persons hobby of winding up moderators too much already today. In the interests of the forum, ignore them.

 Monte cited posts from all three in the General Discussion forum. All three explained their reasons for leaving. I'll take a look for you after supper, if you haven't found it by then.

I'm concerned to preserve the forum. I always have been. I'm concerned that three people have left, citing Zany's overzealous approach as their reason. If you were concerned to preserve the forum, you would do exactly the same thing.

Not a single person has cited me as their reason for leaving. The fact that you see me as the aggressor here only shows your partisan position.

My final comment. Monte could have explained the green writing to Wapentake and Borg0 but chose not to because he too thinks we need less moderation.

I told everyone here the green writing was friendly advice. I seriously doubt that was passed on.

But as I say I'm gone.

Without knowing who they are and why they said they left I cannot make any informed opinion. Because one man's heavy handed moderation is another man's preventing abuse or trolling. Some see criticism of the latter as heavy handed. So citing this without supplying source or evidence is stirring rather than informative in my view. Because I can make no judgement about who left and why without knowing. So throwing that in and leaving it hanging is most unhelpful.

Anyway enough already, If I wake up in the morning feeling the same way about this site as I do now, I will be gone too.
