GuardianA complete innocent oversight no doubt What do you mean by "has donated 5,000 to Rachel Reeves? Do you mean he gave it to her for the party or he gave it to her as an indicudual...I don't understand.

This looks like another time where cock-up theory should be tried before conspiracy theory.
An average £2k a year over 10 years is not much

I believe he gave it to her as an individual from what I read in the OP link A couple of thousand isn't nothing is it? Still shows clear political bias for a supposedly impartial civil service servant, still should have been reported

No it shows a cock-up because the donations were already public knowledge

The watchdog aren't going to go scanning every public record, they expect it to be reported to them

So someone in all the rush of new minister briefings and trying to work out the real finance numbers forgot.

This is all I could find? This is just one story out of many. Again, be careful with being blase, that was a Tory party behaviour that cost them dearly I suggest this isn't the world's biggest revelation, but this coupled with Lab's attempt to partialise the civil service - oh look, here is another one: archive.ph/Ho8XP#selection-3087.4-3098.0The hits just keep on comin'

More Lab cronyism here. And Sue Gray seems headed for a clash with the PM LinkExcellent, wonder if they'll start using full-on Tories now in Lab and really embrace the corruption. That's what I like to see.

Occam's Razor says it's the bleeding obvious explanation The clear pattern of cronyism, Starmer sinking in the polls, Lab sinking in the polls and its membership dropping to its lowest point in 10 years and support in other ways falling are also all simple coincidences I guess it has nothing to do with the idea that people think they're exactly like the Tories, when it comes to cronyism and much else eh
