Without revealing any of your personal info or location (unless you want to) - what are some of the nicer places you've been to? Show pictures if you want. We recently went to this rather amazing looking park in "Roswell" (there are no aliens there, that I know of..) in Georgia near where we live, it has a 19th century building and an old mill. It's called "Old Mill Park". Here's a Flickr image reel. Here's a google image link if you want to have a look: Link

Iguazu Falls. As Eleanor Roosevelt put it when she first saw them: 'Poor Niagara' Took this pic in 2007. Brazil is on the left, Argentina on the right.

Plitvice, prettiest place I've ever been. Went there on my honeymoon.

Makes me want to try one more time to get Mrs Steve to go to Croatia. But I know it isn't going to happen.

This is Hastings, you wouldn't believe how pretty this was at sunrise when the Exmoor ponies were milling around www.facebook.com/HAPP1066/posts/the-wild-ponies-in-fairlight-country-park-by-kate-tugwell/1826475914142949/Sadly, they removed the Exmoor Ponies a few years later, can't remember why If I ever manage to get back to England, it would be nice to take the bus tour that goes out of Eastbourne, past the Seven Sisters' cliffs, a route I sadly never managed to take. And to spend time exploring Newhaven and Peacehaven which are stunning

Bourg-Archambault. Just down the road from my little house in France.

Wow! Wonderful
We went to that department around 2023 and visited Bordeaux (they burned down the town hall a few days after we left LOL - my presence brings destruction!!!) and some nearby villages in the same department - around Chateau De Gavaudun
You are ultra-lucky to live in such a wonderful place!
Do you have farmland there too then and a vineyard?

I'll be going out there in the spring to sort it out. It's in Aquitaine so surrounded by nice castles. Elanor of Aquitaine's father's castle is about 5 miles away.

Not a real castle amongst them. All late 19th century palaces.
