There's really not enough to go on, no suspects no detail. For all the evidence it could be that a murderer killed a child and then through a dummy out the window. However considering a classic cartoon piano. May answer is PM'd I tried that theory - it was wrong It wasn't really wrong, it just wasn't the solution the writers chose. It was a viable solution.

You are over thinking it. All you need to work out is why Jessica saw a boy fall feet first from a window but when she got there she found a dead boy with only head injuries.

I can think of several possibilities and did indeed come up with a valid one but it wasn't the one of many that is being sought.

Its a bit daft. Think about the possible consequence of dropping something heavy from a 5th floor window

Yes that could happen but so could several other explanations

No dafter than any mystery of this kind. It's improbable. But, if improbability were a disqualifier, there wouldn't be a single mystery writer.

What no triple Salchow?
Look it's been a bit of fun, I'm just not up for PMing Saint with any or all of the N possible theories until I pick the right one.
