No, as I pointed out, but its not a reason to stop immigration, just an explanation of why our government does it. You think that this isn't an explanation of why we have to limit immigration? Because it's in effect a Ponzi scheme, overloading our working age population with capable people who eventually become non working age requiring an even greater number of working age people hence more immigration to keep the wheel spinning. Meantime we have the South East of the UK that is over crowded pricing even decent earners out of owning homes. And it makes life misery for the 50% of the population below median IQ. . . . Only it doesn't overload the working population, they customers grow at the same rate as the workers and we have very low unemployment. Lack of housing might be a good reason, but that's because we don't build enough.

It does overload it with capable people meaning those of below median ability have a hard time of it getting a job IF they can get one. We should be better than that, we should be having strategies and policies that allow all to have a fair chance. The massive immigration levels we've had for 20 years now just don't allow that.
