Still waiting for practical examples of the “culture loss” Orac is referring to. Boiled turnips and cabbage being replaced by Indian and Thai food perhaps? Winning more than three or four Olympic Gold medals every four years

Not really the best example, given the kind of people who are currently at the olympics although I'm pretty sure that child rapist is a white guy, which would make Orac's point even less of a point.
I personally wouldn't raise the olympics as a great example right now, unless I was secretly trying to undermine my own point

I have the same feeling as I did when Olly Watkins scored that goal from that awesome pass from the non white Cole Palmer. I can just about remember a time when I was a bit racist because my parents were, and then my age became double digits.

There's racism and then there's being against guys who slept with underage kids, I know why I'm against the olympics and it doesn't make me a racist, unless I'm now racist against white people owing to being mixed race or some weird assed logic like that

Its a shame the racists maintain centre stage on this, when you consider Is it really possible that 52% of the population are racist? Or is it that a good way to silence those who want immigration severely reduced is to call them racists. And then quote the racists as representative of them.

I want further immigration reduced a lot but those that demonise those first, second or later generation immigrants already here are low life scum at best and in many cases inane bigots just looking for something or someone to hate as some sort of salve for their own personal inadequacies.

Yet try discussing wanting immigration reduced without being thrown in with the above. Why do you want immigration reduced Steve?

Because it's in effect a Ponzi scheme, overloading our working age population with capable people who eventually become non working age requiring an even greater number of working age people hence more immigration to keep the wheel spinning. Meantime we have the South East of the UK that is over crowded pricing even decent earners out of owning homes. And it makes life misery for the 50% of the population below median IQ.
We have to get used to living within our means

We have to get used to living within our means Well yes I've been saying this for a long time, but its not a reason to stop immigration, just an explanation of why our government does it

I don't think anyone is arguing to have it absolutely stopped

I don't think anyone is arguing to have it absolutely stopped Yes well stopped or dramatically slowed. Steve do you ever allow for any latitude in what people say? Its very annoying to have to detail every sentence in order to move the conversation forward with you. You could have said "I don't think anyone is arguing to have it absolutely stopped, but the reason I want it slowed........ So the question still remains. Why do you want immigration dramatically slowed/ slowed/ slowed a bit (Delete as applicable.)

You think that this isn't an explanation of why we have to limit immigration? Because it's in effect a Ponzi scheme, overloading our working age population with capable people who eventually become non working age requiring an even greater number of working age people hence more immigration to keep the wheel spinning. Meantime we have the South East of the UK that is over crowded pricing even decent earners out of owning homes. And it makes life misery for the 50% of the population below median IQ. . . .
