Well bollocks. Those headers were the second most disappointing shots of the weekend.

My favourite was the leftist who got killed trying to kill him ^ You mean the registered Republican. He donated to a liberal PAC prior - and only registered Republican latterly, presumably to vote in the primary against Trump, so he wouldn't win the nomination. But hey, you wanted to make the thread about your favourite politics, which you absolutely have to do in every thread ...

So close to equalising with that sequence of headers, but alas, we got pipped Well played by the team at the end though eh? Are you seriously suggesting England were unlucky? Fack sake. Delusional to the end eh? Anyone who is a football fan , and is honest, would not suggest in any way shape or form England were unlucky to lose that final. They got absolutely battered by Spain for 70 minutes. If Spain had a world class striker (morata isnt bad) it would have been three or four nil. Spain has two thirds possession , double the shots what the English had , 10 corners to Englands two , and wave after wave of Spanish attack with desperate defending from outclassed English .The whole England team spent much of the first 70 minutes behind the ball desperately defending Englands goal. The greatest player ever in the world, Jude Bellingham , who is better than Messi , pele , maradonna and Ronaldo , was missing in the showcase final. Good at scoring goals against balkan pub teams. Useless against better opposition. Foden was bang average , without guardiolas guiding hand and foreign mercenaries in the Man City team around him . How harry Kane started that game is a mystery only Gareth Southgate can explain , never mind last three quarters of the match without being subbed. Thats the difference between great managers like Mourinho , Ferguson , stein etc etc , and woke clowns like Southgate. Tactically inept out of his depth. Sends the team out not to lose a goal , but with no clue how to win the game. Then panics and throws someone on , reacting instead of being pro active at the start . The boy palmer looked good when he came on. Scored a good goal , got England playing for five minutes or so , took Englands one and only decent set piece , but all too little too late . For the final 15 minutes , business as usual , Spain on the attack , then they saw out the final 4 minutes of stoppage time. All that money spent by the English FA bribing UEFA for an easy route to the final , backhander to dodgy referees for penalties , and still they couldnt win it. The question is is Gareth Southgate the biggest loser in world football?

That's a fact. And having majority possession doesn't always guarantee a team will win the game, a team can dominate the game and still lose through a number of other factors. We were definitely unlucky to lose that final. And saying "if Spain had a world class striker" is like saying if your grandma had balls, she'd be your grandad. It's neither here nor there.

We were definitely unlucky to lose that final. And saying "if Spain had a world class striker" is like saying if your grandma had balls, she'd be your grandad. It's neither here nor there. football is won or lost over ninety minute. Its delusional to take the few desperate headers from players after Englands set piece , England one and only decent one from their players in the whole match , while ignoring the fact they got battered for the vast majority of the entire game. You were not unlucky to lose that final. Spain in every way shape and form were the far better team , not just over ninety minutes , but over the tournament. England struggled over the tournament against weak opposition , contrasting with Spain ,and England had shall we say a fortuitous route to the final , again , but were lucky to get to the final. Spain won didnt they? I was putting the Spanish chances , double what England had , into context. The better team by miles won , against the most over hyped team in world football. Thats why Spain have five trophies , and England has one. England has the worst footballing international record among world footballs great footballing nations , with the least amount of trophies of anyone. Even wee Denmark has won the euros. The greatest country in world football ( well in the minds of themselves of course) haven't. yet again.

We got to the finals of the Euros last time didn't we? Our team has gotten a lot better under Southgate.
I understand your need to poke fun at us every opportunity you get (I laughed at the pic BTW). But it's not out fault Scotland went nowhere and we only just lost that final 2-1.
We can be pretty happy with what we achieved I think.

We got to the finals of the Euros last time didn't we? lmfao. There's no trophy for losers mate. thats a false equation .Rather Southgate has better players than many previous England managers , thanks to the efforts of English clubs , while England has a very poor manager. Whats Southgate ever won? Famous for missing penalties , getting beaten in club and international finals and teams getting relegated? He's an English fa yes man as most football fans agree , too busy taking the knee and worrying about identity politics. we beat Spain. everyone in Europe is happy you lost , so at least we can agree on that as you achieved fuck all.

I mean, you got beaten five one by Germany. You're proud of Scotland's record. Fantastic. Southgate has done wonders for England, you can be as angry as you like over the pink trainers and all the rest of it, but at least they're close to winning trophies. At least we got further than you eh? Eh? Let me know when Scotland ever reaches a final of anything ever...

At least we got further than you eh? Eh? we did. But we beat Spain . We played the host nation Germany , who have 7 major trophiess to their name unlike England s one , while England struggled against Denmark and Slovenia in euro 2024 easiest group . Now England , like scotland have finished the tournament trophy less. yet again. I love Southgate boggy . Long may he reign over the English national team.

Let me know when Scotland ever reaches a final of anything ever... typical Englishman. Spain and Germany count the number of trophies they have won , and lower their eyes in contempt at opponents , while England raises her eyes in anticipation of what the mighty Scotland does. What a great start to the week.
