I'd prefer the forum to go the way Zany wants it to go, but I'm also OK if it becomes a free-for-all. I'll act accordingly as others here act, if major members want to start threads slagging off other forums, other members and so on and post how people deserve to be killed, then I will start going into full pisstaking mode because why not? What a great start to the week. *you're Naw........its no monte. Its the Scots word "yoor" .I suspect the software that produced the graphic doesn't do Scots , and tried to change it to English , which is why the "u " Is in there. Scots speakers dont use the English words "you are" so would have no need to put the apostrophe in there to shorten it. If you ever hear a Glaswegian changing to the English "you are" , for example , its normally done to emphasise something sarcastically. I have that problem all the time regarding people thinking my spelling and grammar in your English is poor , because predictive text and spell checkers automatically change how im thinking and trying to write in Scots , to English. |

I can cheer on and support whoever I want . What is this weird fantasy of all Englishmen that we Scots Irish or welsh have to support you ? Your own team is so shit you have to support anyone but England out of spite. That's sad that. But the thing is, it would be awesome to have an England Scotland final of an international competition, whoever won. But Scotland neither has the players or the management to make that happen (I wish it did). I can support whoever I like. I find it weird , and a bit creepy and obsessive , that English people such as yourself demand , almost plead , with Scots Irish and welsh to support you. I think its very revealing , and shows the deep malaise and mass insecurity among the English population in general. No matter how good. , or how bad scotland is , I will always support my country. Im not insecure or weak enough to bleat about other nations supporting us , cause I couldnt give a fuck. The nation whose fans have ran around the host country Germany singing about ten German bombers , and slagging off every nation at the euros talking about "spite" is fucking laughable . 80 years on , and you are still dribbling over your shandies about a war the Americans and Russians won. The germans would have us "spiteful" Scottish back in a heartbeat , it's funny how they were glad to see the back of you shandy drinking muppets . The whole of the European footballing fraternity , from ireland and scotland in the west , to turkey in the east were largely cheering on the Spanish against the hated englanders. |

Total hypocrisy . Did you even watch the game? Over recent days , every English football commentator and journalist has largely voiced the same opinion as what I did o here initially. Southgate being tactically clueless , why was Kane on the pitch , what wasn't he substituted earlier , English players out of position and Southgate not knowing their best positions , disjointed English team who were lucky to get to the final etc etc etc. The bookies had Spain clear favourites , and they produced a champion display in the final against a second rate English team who were out of their depth as it stood. Ive had a big smile on my face all week a blowtorch couldn't remove..... |

sorry Steve , personally I would say its the right decision for both. The problem is who is going to be his successor? I listened to Simon Jordan talk about Southgate ( can't stand Jordan) on talk sport , and every word about him rang true. Jordan pointed out how Southgate was the perfect yes man , albeit tactically clueless , for the snowflakes at the English FA. The only surprise was how Southgate clung on after the last euro final defeat. He also got England relegated from the nations league. I did laugh though when they talked about Klop succeeding Southgate. Why would any self respecting German want to manage the national side of a country whose fans sing about bombing his country in a war 80 years ago , and wear RAF fighter pilot hats to wind the germans up? At least the scousers booed the English anthem , and largely criticise England and their fans............ |
