Labour are quite clearly a racist party. It’s not clear to me that the party is racist — it possibly has racists within its ranks, but then isn’t that the case with other political parties in the UK…? I think there is a distinction to be drawn here . the whole 'racist' thing is a left shibboleth. It's the left's baby and is used as a tool by the left to prevent open public discussion of their ideas. If the mainstream left are racist, it shows the concept is just largely a pantomime performed to gain power. Perhaps it needs to be ignored?

You’re wrong. “The whole ‘racist’ thing” is not a thing of the past or irrelevant. Nor is it confined to political parties. Racism has been judged to be institutionalised across much of the UK establishment — it’s this ingrained racism in officialdom that makes others think it’s OK. Was it only the Left that complained when the Black &White Minstrel Show was axed from TV? Is it only the Left that now complains there are too many naturally Black faces appearing, or Black actors are now playing the parts of fictional characters that had previously been seen as White — eg, the latest Romeo & Juliet. Is it right that actors, politicians, TV and radio presenters are still bombarded by racist emails, insults and comments. Or should the country return to pretending it doesn’t exist or, where it does, it’s probably deserved…?

And the Diane Abbott story is still making the news…

Don't you believe that people are treated differently either because of their colour, religion, political beliefs or sex?

Labour's Diane Abbott fiasco, although no longer heading news bulletins, is still being frequently referred to.
For Starmer's sake, I hope the idiot or idiots, who couldn't resist showing off to The Times, have been forcefully educated about the place of diplomacy in politics...

The clear outrageous nature of remarks about Jews shouldn't be in doubt, the fact Labour let some back in to me is remarkable
To my mind, many in parliament have made racist remarks, it can be quite open, they singled some out for it, which doesn't make what they said OK - but I find it amusing they are focusing so much attention on certain candidates nonetheless, if Labour had any standards whatsoever they'd probably be doing everything very differently though
They certainly wouldn't be supporting the IDF's current mass slaughter in Gaza. On the one hand, they allow some who made definitively anti-semitic remarks back into the party - on the other they support what the IDF is doing in Gaza, and others also made openly anti-semitic remarks - with others making pro-terror remarks in favour of what the IDF are doing in Gaza.
It's like Hovis - the worst of both worlds

No. The gibberish of BLM,, who engaged in an attempt to make black males immune from arrest ; the idiotic statements of that 'Scottish' minister who deemed the mere prevalence of white people in Scotland to be racist and the labeling of 'colour-blind' selection procedure as itself racist, tells us that this movement is simply a corrupt lever designed to move resources from one group to another.Of course, having backed such naked corruption yourself, you relieve others of the social duty of failing to use similar corruption to attack your interests

Isn’t this similar to trying to ensure everyone is allowed equal opportunity to access education, training, work, etc, and also a way of lessening the chances of population unrest? Accusing me of backing corruption seems a bizarre conclusion to your strange mixture of examples that illustrate where some people have grievances that could be addressed…

Of course, if you are prepared to back corruption to move resources to your people, it removes much of case for me not doing the same back to you This is how you end with a social collapse

I can understand — though not necessarily approve of — bias. But I do not see how I am supposed to support corruption. Where possible, I want there to be equal treatment for everyone whether they are postmasters, Liverpool fans, or contaminated blood recipients. Just because I complain when I see the Met and the justice system treating people differently because of their ethnicity, social standing, wealth, etc, why does that suggest I am a supporter of corrupt practices…?

I gave you some examples of the corruption you support in my earlier post. It's pretty transparent stuff A broader point i made is that, as soon as I lose trust that you are even vaguely willing or capable of being fair - that all you are doing is grasping to take (by any means necessary) as much as you can from me and my family, then my responsibilities shift and you are no longer in my society

You seem to see the darkest motives in everything you don't like and then exagerrate the truth of those positions to absurdity. And FYI corruption is actually 'dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery.' and BLM was actually several different groups that disagreed with each other.

Oh yes BLM - the name on everyone's lips, though any claim they are OBVIOUS scam artists can be countered with the notion that 'they aren't anything at all'
A fair few scam artists would like to know the trick behind that maneuver. The trick is to use people who can't think clearly
