A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
That's all of it. As a legal document bearing such importance it pretty fucking vague. There's a good reason there are only 3 nations in the world that have a constitutional right to bear arms.

Well I think that air rifles will be tightly regulated by labour once they have their feet under the table and firearms even more so which won’t do a thing about illegal weapons.

Have they given any indication that they are going to? If anything needs tighter regulation it's probably crossbows.

Just a feeling Monte because they have form for over regulating things though on crossbows I agree they need to tighten up. This is an article from last year link though that is firearms as far as air weapons I think they’ll go down the route Scotland have.

Well as deputy prime minister John Prescott heavily influenced new electrical installation regs they were over the top and were later cut back.

Scotland does require air gun owners to have a licence or go to prison, even a 2ft lb BB gun requires a licence, and plinking is not allowed as a reason for ownership. BB guns aren't allowed at ranges (ball bearings ricochet too much) so they've been effectively banned whilst crossbows capable of piercing bulletproof vests can be owned without a licence. See how daft that is? And some crossbows have magazines for rapid second shots. It's illegal to hunt with a crossbow in the UK. Unless a member of a club there's little use for one. Air guns are a lot more practical for shooting at home due to far lower power.

It's bad that they have seats anywhere.

It's bad that they have seats anywhere. That's democracy for you. I feel the same about Reform seats.
