Anyone else having problems logging in to this site? I just keep getting: Oops, there was an error! Invalid request token / possible request forgery (error 1). If you received this message in error, please go back, refresh, and try again. And I've been having this for a couple of weeks.  |

If you received this message in error, please go back, refresh, and try again. And I've been having this for a couple of weeks. I can't remember if that was the message I received, but I have trouble logging in here if I have first logged in to the other place.
I logged out of the other place, and logged back in here without difficulty. However, when I log back in to the other place, I get the wrong user name (I forgot my password then remembered it) and have to log out and back in again. I now only log out when I do my weekly trim and cookie removal.

Its quite a common error of these boards. Probably caused by excess demand at certain times causing call timeouts.
The timeout is when the request token becomes out of date before the page is downloaded.
Closing your browser and re-opening creates a new token and should solve the issue.
Another issue can be the number of active requests from behind the scenes apps (Steam is particularly heavy on this)
Trying shutting your computer/laptop down and restarting it now and then.
Another good idea is to close down your laptop and remove the power and the battery for a few seconds to force a full shutdown and restart.
Once a month is good enough.

The second site rejects the token that was used by the first site. Trying again usually clears it.

I get the same message in both places. Logging out and logging back in always works. Same with me. |

Don't think so. Just having logging in issues I presume. When you log out and log back in again it seems to solve the issue if you remember to tick the 'stay logged in' box. |
