Its quiet here at the moment, I think because we are all in limbo waiting for something to happen.
When I read the papers I don't see anything happening that's really worth commenting on.

Yes I have noticed this forum has become quieter this last week. Which is a pity because for the most part this one is far better with most of the trolls missing.
I have had to resort to posting on the other forum again in recent days due to a lack of action here. I even took the step of privately messaging Veronika and inviting her to look here. Her threads can be a bit whacky and her national allegiances might be a bit suspect but she does make original posts and threads.

What a terrifying thought. That without the pages of mindless digs and insults adults interested in politics have not enough to talk about. I'd rather it was quiet for a week than return to that level of conversation. |

That was, in my opinion, a bad move. She's a bit of a loose cannon. But I have a soft spot for her. Harmless, I suppose - don't tell her any secrets or you may have KGB agents calling on you. |

At the moment the country is sitting on its hands waiting for interest rates to fall to indicate the economy is recovering. At the moment the interests are held because the Tories want everyone to feel better of just before a November election. If you missed all the other signs that the Tories are selfish bar stewards this is a final warning. In the meantime just when you're getting bored with their disgusting behaviour in the post office saga, turns out they are still delaying compensation to the Windrush victims for stupid spurious reasons. Christ, it never stops. And so we sit on our hands and say soon everyone, SOON. |

Yes I suspect she is Russian stooge and paid influencer and that the other forum is just one of many places she posts possibly under a collection of aliases, that one probably just in her spare time.. It is virtually impossible to get her to express much of an opinion on Russia, let alone a negative one, and she has next to nothing to say about Ukraine, in spite of supposedly being half Ukrainian. Yet she posts stuff about some teacher wanting to cane her arse when she was 14, or Tories boosting their popularity by doing naked bike rides for charity, lol. But never, ever, has she expressed an opinion that Putin wouldnt agree with, not that I have seen. But none of us are privy to, or discuss, state secrets on these forums and we are all politically aware enough to think for ourselves, so even as a Russian stooge she would be essentially harmless around here. |
